Privacy policy
Hotel Lillevang treats your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what rights you have.
What we collect
When you book or contact us we collect your name, address, email, telephone number, arrival and departure dates, number of guests and any special requests. Payment details are handled by our payment provider – we do not store card details ourselves. When you use the website, technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages visited is recorded.
Purpose and legal basis
We use your data to carry out your booking and stay (performance of a contract), to answer enquiries about events (our legitimate interest), to comply with accounting and hotel regulations (legal obligation), and to send newsletters if you have signed up (consent).
Disclosure
We only share data with suppliers who help us operate booking, payment, hosting and email, and who process the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. Data is disclosed to public authorities where the law requires it.
Retention
Bookings are handled in our booking system Sirvoy, which processes the data on our behalf. Booking data is kept for as long as the stay requires, and then for five years after the end of the financial year it relates to, as required by Danish bookkeeping law. Enquiries from the contact form are not stored in any database – they are sent only as email to reception and kept in our mail system until the enquiry is closed.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies. Our statistics come from Pirsch, which is cookieless, EU-hosted and collects no personal data – which is why there is no consent banner. If you open the booking page, Sirvoy’s booking system loads and may store data locally in your browser to remember your search. Fonts are hosted on our own server. See the cookie policy for details.
Your rights
You have the right to access the data we hold about you, to rectification and erasure, to restriction of processing, to data portability and to object. Where you have given consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Contact us at info@hotel-lillevang.dk to exercise your rights.
